A Journey Fueled by Passion and Dedication
Christian Greico’s journey into the world of professional fishing began at a young age. Growing up, he spent countless hours fishing with his dad and brother, whether at the neighborhood park or during family vacations at the beach. It was in middle school that his love for fishing truly took off. Alongside his school friends, Christian began pond fishing and soon discovered that professional fishing was a real career path—one that he knew he wanted to pursue.
In 2021, Christian took a significant step forward in his career by qualifying for the Major League Fishing (MLF) Pro Circuit during his first season fishing the Toyota Series. His talent was quickly recognized as he secured a win in only his second Pro Circuit event on the Harris Chain. The following year, he continued to showcase his skills by winning the Angler of the Year (AOY) title in the Toyota Series and claiming victory at the Toyota Series event on the Potomac in 2023.
Sharing His Journey Through YouTube
In addition to his competitive success, Christian is also passionate about sharing his journey with others. Four years ago, he launched his YouTube channel to document his fishing tournaments and connect with fellow anglers and potential sponsors. Since then, he has recorded and shared every tournament he’s fished, allowing viewers to experience the highs and lows of professional fishing alongside him. Christian finds great joy in meeting fans at tackle shops and boat ramps who tell him they’ve watched his videos and been inspired by his journey.
“I just want to be a good example to any kids who might watch my YouTube videos and show them that whatever their dreams are can be possible,” says Christian.
